LIFE AT NPSI
VISUAL ARTS & DESIGN
Visual Arts & Design at NPSI fosters creativity, critical thinking, and artistic excellence.
OVERVIEW
VISUAL ARTS & DESIGN
NPSI’s Visual Arts and Design department offers a comprehensive programme from Grades 1 to 12, nurturing creativity, technical skill, and a deep appreciation for visual arts. Students develop proficiency across a range of media, techniques, and artistic practices while learning to observe, research, critique, and express ideas visually.
In the Primary and Middle School years, students build strong foundations through hands-on projects, art history, drawing, printmaking, and 3D art in dedicated studios.
Students with advanced interest may pursue Art and Design at the Cambridge IGCSE level (Grades 9–10) or Visual Arts in the IB Diploma Programme (Grades 11–12), guided by experienced instructors. These courses challenge students to think critically, explore contemporary practices, and refine their personal artistic voice.
Enriched by museum visits, art festivals, and annual exhibitions, NPSI’s arts programme has enabled IB Visual Arts students to gain admission and scholarships to leading art and design universities worldwide.
