LIFE AT NPSI
Drama
Drama at NPS builds confident communicators and expressive performers.
OVERVIEW
Drama
Theatre and Drama are an integral part of NPS’s arts programme and are included in the curriculum from Grades 1 to 8. From this academic year, NPS also offers Drama as an IGCSE subject for Grades 9 and 10.
Students develop core skills in acting, character and scene analysis, public speaking, improvisation, devising, audience interaction, and technical theatre, providing a strong foundation for IGCSE studies.
Drama classes involve collaborative and individual creative activities that build communication, presentation, leadership, and teamwork skills, supported by regular formative and summative assessments.
Middle School students gain performance experience through competitions and annual school productions at intra-school, inter-school, and international levels.
