NPS International School offers the International General Certificate of Secondary Education, or IGCSE. IGCSE is a Cambridge International Education based curriculum, and is one of the world’s most popular and reputed international qualification at the 10th grade level.
The Cambridge IGCSE curriculum engages students by creating a foundation of core subjects and adding breadth and cross-curricular perspectives. Connecting a variety of topics across subjects, the system is designed in a manner to encourage and develop critical thinking enquiry and problem solving. Cambridge has also curated a large inventory of teaching materials and student/teacher support methodologies that are used regularly at NPSI.

Fee structure
The school operates on a four-term academic calendar; however, tuition fees are structured across three fee terms. For Nursery to Grade 10, tuition fee terms commence in April, August, and December. For IB Grades 11 and 12, tuition fee terms commence in July, November, and March. As a result, academic terms and fee terms will not correspond exactly.

What is the IGCSE programme offered by NPSI in Singapore?
IGCSE offered by NPSI Singapore or International General Certificate of Secondary Education is a very popular curriculum similar to the GCSE in UK. It aims to prepare the students in the secondary level to pre-university education such as the A-level, International Baccalaureate etc. IGCSE is offered in Grades 9 and 10 and the examinations are administered by University of Cambridge International Examinations. How many IGCSE subjects are required?
Based on the University of Cambridge International Examinations, students who will be taking the IGCSE at NPSI Singapore are expected to take a minimum of seven IGCSE subjects from the five fundamental disciplines including Humanities, Languages, Creative and Vocational, Mathematics and Sciences.
How many subject choices are offered by NPSI in the IGCSE curriculum?
NPSI offers up to 20 subject options covering all the necessary disciplines.
What are the pathways after completing the IGCSE programme at NPSI?
NPSI offers two pathways in Grades 11 & 12 – IB Diploma programme of the International Baccalaureate Organisation and CBSE (India). The majority of the students opt for the IB Diploma programme.
How can I get IGCSE in Singapore?
