All assessments are held in class. The assessments in Primary are to monitor student learning and for the school to take appropriate actions for students who have not met the required standards. Parents are kept informed of their child’s progress through report cards.
To ensure that students enjoy learning and they and their parents do not feel pressured by assessments, the dates of the assessments shall not be declared to the parents. The assessment papers shall be called “No help Worksheets” and the administration of the tests may not follow formal exam-like procedures.
Assessment Results:
The School will declare assessment results via the report card (1 interim report and 2 consolidated reports per year).
The School will also send to parents the marked answer scripts for the students and parents review and understanding.
Student Progression:
No student shall be retained in a course, up to Grade 8, except for reasons of age appropriateness or attendance
